Zimed Medical was established in Gaziantep province in April 2008 by obtaining ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certificates with a global perspective. Prioritizing its contributions to patient health with femural nails, tibial nails, humeral nails, external fixators, titanium plates and screws trauma group, Zimed Medical exhibited innovative approaches in the arthroplasty group by producing hip prosthesis in 2010 and knee prosthesis in 2011 upon the demands of its stakeholders and further increased its focus on health.
Zimed Medical has established and implemented an integrated management system that will comply with the requirements specified in the Medical Devices Directive 93 /42/EEC, EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN ISO 13485:2016. It has also established the necessary infrastructure to ensure the continuity of this system and improve its effectiveness. In addition, it has started the necessary work for 2017/745 (MDR). It aims to be certified as soon as possible within the framework of this updated legislation.
Zimed Medical manufactures hip prosthesis, knee prosthesis, femural nail, tibial nail, humeral nail, external fixator, titanium plates and screws, surgical hand tools in healthy and safe conditions by maintaining social responsibility awareness and ethical values with the support and participation of its stakeholders. We are committed to design, manufacture and distribute these products within international quality standards.
In 2011, Zimed Medical developed the "Multi-axis Sliding Automaton and Wire Erosion" project together with the Silk Road Development Agency and with the achievements of this project, it has achieved high production technology and strengthens this feature day by day.
Zimed Medical, which continues to support both qualitative and quantitative growth with new and advanced working methods, provides solutions and services to its patients and partners in more than 30 countries with hip prosthesis, knee prosthesis, femural nail, tibial nail, humeral nail, external fixator, titanium plate and screws product groups.
In addition to its qualitative growth, Zimed Medikal also realized its physical growth by moving to its new factory building with a closed area of 10,000 square meters in the first quarter of 2017.
In order to accelerate the access of its high-standard products to patients and to transfer up-to-date scientific data to physicians, it completed the Ankara organization in 2009 and the Istanbul organization in 2019 and reflected its interactive cooperation approach to the field.
